Back in June, Google released the first development version of Google Chrome for Mac OS X and Linux platforms

Mac and Linux users have been waiting for a proper release version since then, but Google has kept quite in letting out any word on when the first beta would be released.

announced the availability of Google Chrome Beta for Mac OS X and Linux
